Facebook and Twitter Help In Norway Shootings

During the horrific Norway bombing and shooting investigations, one man was brought forward. His name was Anders Behring Breivik and according to the article he was seen at the scene of the bombing.

While these investigations were underway, they brought some new and surprising information forward. He created a Twitter and Facebook account the week before the killings. Some of his interests listed were World of Warcraft and Modern Warfare II.

From the information gathered from these two social media sites they were able to gather more information for their investigation. This shows that social media helps in many different areas, including criminal investigation. From the information Breivik listed on Twitter and Facebook they were able to uncover more information and facts about him.

Social media tools are becoming more helpful and useful every day. As it can be seen, even in major investigations like this one.
